In honor and celebration of Memorial Day, the Hill House Museum will partner with the Hunter House Museum by having a thematic tea in the gardens. 

The Blue and Gray theme will allow patrons the opportunity to sit at a Union or Confederate table while enjoying a hot or cold cup/glass of tea, scone, tea-sandwiches, desserts, view the gardens, listen to a re-enactor, participate in an interactive activity, and tour the museum.

$40 per person

(proceeds go toward the continued restoration of both museums)

Come spend the afternoon with Queen Victoria

When?  Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Where?  The Hill House Museum (221 North Street)

Times:  Noon to 7 pm

Free to all Portsmouth Historical Association members and $5 for non-members

The Hill House Museum will be decorated with the collection of mourning textiles left by the Hill Family. 

Also, Queen Victoria, portrayed by a re-enactor, will be present in period costume with many artifacts to share with those interested in her life.

 "An Artful Life",  an exhibit of the work of EAnn Stokes, Artist and Art Educator.  The exhibit will be open Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Free to members of the Portsmouth Historical Association, non-members $5.00. All proceeds go to conservation of art at the Hill House Museum.
